Samsung Gear VR Headset Launched at Rs. 8,200
Samsung, The south korean Tech giant Company unveils its new oculus-powered Gear VR headset in Indian market today. The Gear VR looks similar to its predecessor and it comes with a redesigned trackpad for better controls to user. This Samsung Gear VR is priced at Rs 8,200 and will be available on select Samsung retail stores and Online on Flipkart.
This Samsung Gear VR supports the latest high-end Galaxy smartphones including the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ . Recently launched Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM is also their in list of compatible devices list.

The Samsung Gear VR features a fixed lens with 96 degree of field view. The gear VR packs with Sensor such as Accelerator, Gyrometer, Proximity sensors and will be available in Frost White colour options. These device can charge via Micro-USB.It also has back, volume, and focus adjustment wheel button for controls.
It weighs 318 grams without Galaxy smartphone and measures 201.9×116.4×92.6mm.The Gear VR headgear will support 360-degree videos.
Along with the VR headset, Samsung has also launched its Gear S2 and Gear Classic smartwatches in India priced at Rs 24,300 and Rs 25,800 respectively. The devices will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting today.
