Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number that can be obtained by residents of India, based on their biometric and demographic data. This data is collected by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and based on the information this unique number is generated and provided to respective residents.

Now in India, it is Mandatory to link this Aadhaar number with your every bank account, property, business registration, SIM card registration, etc. So when you are providing your Aadhaar card Xerox copy for any reason, there are chances that the information may get used anywhere without your knowledge.

By keeping in mind, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provided a way to keep your eye on your information. They provided an online service where you get all the info about Aadhaar number usage with date and time. Following are the steps to check your’s Aadhaar history:-

Step 1:-

Visit UIDAI Website on https://uidai.gov.in/ which will open following official web Page.

Step 2:-

Once you filled all the mandatory details and valid CAPTCHA, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number which is registered while applying for the Aadhaar Card. On the screen select “OTP” from “Authentication Type” field. Then select the Date Range from which you need to see Aadhaar Number data and Click on Verify OTP button.

Then All the places where your Aadhaar has been used in the selected date range will be shown on the screen.

Step 3:-

In Case you find any misuse of your Aadhaar Information without your knowledge you can complain to UIDAI by calling on Toll-Free Number 1947.
